Questions before you subscribe
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from Settings → Manage Subscription whenever you want — it opens Stripe's billing portal directly. You keep paid features until the end of the billing period you already paid for, then you're moved to Free automatically with a fresh 2-month window to decide what's next. No phone call, no retention flow.
What happens to my data if I downgrade or cancel?
Nothing is deleted. Your accounts, transactions, budgets, and goals all stay exactly as they are — you just lose access to Plus/Pro-only features (AI assistant, unlimited history, etc.) until you resubscribe. Data is only deleted if you explicitly delete your account from Settings → Danger Zone.
Is my payment information secure?
Your card details go directly to Stripe — FinSight never sees or stores your card number, CVV, or billing address. We only receive a customer ID and subscription status.
Do you offer refunds?
We don't offer refunds for partial subscription periods, but if you were charged in error, email us within 30 days and we'll make it right.
Which plan should I pick?
Free gives you 2 months to see if FinSight fits how you think about money. Plus is the right call once you're actually using it week to week — unlimited accounts and budgets, plus enough AI to get real answers. Pro is for people who want FinSight actively managing their financial picture: unlimited AI, deeper monthly reviews, and every insight feature turned on.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, anytime, in either direction, from Settings → Manage Subscription. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.
